BLAST is a stack of fun and engages kids in God’s word, how to grow their faith and gain an understanding of who God is, and aims to teach children how to live as a Christ follower in their everyday lives. This program involves singing, games, stories, craft and other bible related activities. Kids Church happens on Sunday mornings during school term times, commencing approximately 20 minutes into the church service. During school holidays, supervised craft and other quiet activities are offered.

Creating safe spaces
At Lighthouse Baptist Church we are committed to creating safe spaces for children and vulnerable people. All our child related volunteers have working with Children’s Checks and have completed have training courses on creating safe spaces. Sadly, in recently years there have been numerous examples where churches and other organisations failed to do this. We are deeply saddened by these occurrences. The instances of past failures help remind us of the importance of standard and process to create safe environments for Children and other vulnerable people.
Our church is committed to the 10 Child safe standards recently implemented by NSW Government. For further detail on these standards click here
